St. Martin’s welcomes you.
The people of St. Martin’s welcome you. We are delighted that you chose to visit these pages. If you are just passing through, we are honored that you found us. If you are seeking a faith community we hope you will find our site interesting.
There are many times in life when people seek a faith home. These times include: when children are to be baptized, when the mid-life crisis is out of control, when family members are planning a wedding, when illness comes, or when a loved one dies. Sometimes people have just moved to a new community and they are looking for a place to worship. Others are seeking their first faith experience knowing that something is missing in their lives.
St. Martin’s welcomes you no matter where you are on your faith journey. If you are seeking a place to come to know God’s love, you have come to the right place. If your children are asking about God and you need some answers, we can help. If you are not sure what you are seeking, we can help you find your way. No matter what your faith background, you will be welcome at St. Martin’s.
St. Martin’s is an Episcopal Church. It is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, a historic Catholic Church. It honors the traditional worship of the Catholic Church, yet is reformed. It is true to the Holy Scriptures and it celebrates the gift of human reason to understand how God’s word enters our daily lives. Most of our members have come from another church or tradition. What they have discovered at St. Martin’s is the love of Christ in everyday living.
We sincerely hope you will find the love we share. Our Sunday Communion worship is at 8 a.m. (traditional) and 10 a.m. (Family worship with music, communion, Christian education and nursery) and on Friday at 11 a.m. (prayers for healing and communion). Please visit our website again or call (727) 863-8560. I would love to get to know you.
Yours faithfully,
The Rev. Dr. William F. Dopp,
Rector and pastor
